Tote Case Study

One of the most iconic names in British sports betting, Tote required support with the promotion of the Ten To Follow competition.

The Brief

Following a rebrand (they’ve been around since 1928!), Tote were relaunching their hugely popular Ten To Follow competition.

In addition to the usual marketing methods, Tote wanted to create a Digital PR campaign working with sports influencers to help spread the message.

We were tasked with not only pulling together the influencers, but also securing coverage in horse racing publications and forums to promote the competition.

Execution

Working with six ex-professional football players and racing lovers, we filmed a series of interviews at iconic locations including Haydock Racecourse, Newmarket Racecourse and Micky Quinn’s personal stables!

Press coverage was arranged with a number of local, national and racing specific publications; with journalists attending the interview days to speak with the players.

We also arranged for exclusive shout out videos and interviews with a number of bookmaking and racing forums.

All publications and accounts were cherry picked based on Tote’s audience profiles to ensure maximum exposure of the Ten To Follow competition.
